Verifiable evidence

ATC's evidence is signed by the operator

Acceptance certificates, license ownership certificates, knowledge transfer certificates and the industry standards behind each platform.

Types of evidence

Acceptance records, certificates and standards

01Acceptance certificates

One per milestone, with the test protocols signed by the engineers of both parties.

02License ownership certificates

Licenses in the operator's name.

03Transfer certificates

Named training by profile: user, operations, technical and analytics.

04Reference standards

Interfaces compliant by design with 3GPP; with reference to GSMA, ITU-T and TM Forum, and ITIL as the reference framework for operations.

Implementation, acceptance testing and go-live with the operator's network.

Guarantee: every implementation is backed by severity-based support and a service level agreement with the operator, under the terms of its contract.

Verified cases in the region.

Allows, observes or restricts subscriptions by IMSI, by list or by operator range (MCC-MNC). It is combined with the IMEI and the MSISDN through the IMEI–IMSI–MSISDN link.

Regional case

IMSI blocking in permanent roaming

Context

Mobile operator in the Andean region with foreign subscriptions in permanent roaming that occupied its network without a roaming agreement with the operator.

ATC's intervention

ATC put into production IMSI blocking and observation on Sx-EIR, by list and by operator range (MCC-MNC).

The ROAM-GUARD function extends the view to all foreign IMSIs, by country and by agreement.

Result

The operator decides in the network which foreign subscriptions it serves. The analysis showed that most of what was blocked were Internet of Things (IoT) modules and trackers, information that guides the local offering of machine-to-machine (M2M) services.

Regional case

Modernization of the equipment identity register

Context

Mobile operator in the Andean region with an equipment identity register platform that needed to grow and be modernized without interrupting service.

ATC's intervention

ATC deployed Sx-EIR in an active redundant configuration and migrated the lists from the previous platform with a planned window and a rollback plan.

Result

The platform grows by modules on the same core, with every milestone closed through an acceptance certificate signed by both parties.

Regional case

Blocking of reported devices by regulator order

Context

Latin American mobile operator required to block in its network devices reported as stolen or lost.

ATC's intervention

ATC implemented the equipment identity register with national and international lists, integrated with the operator's provisioning.

Result

IMEI blocking orders are executed in the network, with every response recorded for regulatory reporting.

Regional case

One method across several markets

Context

Mobile operators in the region, from different groups, each with its own regulatory framework in each market.

ATC's intervention

ATC applied the same delivery framework in each implementation, with lists and rules adjusted to the regulations of each market.

Result

Each implementation closed with its acceptance certificate and is sustained with severity-based support.

Data is processed on the infrastructure the operator designates, under its control.

ATC reviews the platform the operator prioritizes and proposes the appropriate configuration. Sizing and review are provided at no cost.

  • Review of the platform and the network interfaces
  • Sizing according to the operator's infrastructure
  • Staged proposal: module, platform or delegated operation
